The Great Comet of 1997
Hale-Bopp
What the Hale is really going on?
In the summer of
1995, two amateur astronomers independently and accidentally discovered
a new comet. Like nearly all comets, this new comet was named after its
discoverers Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp. But unlike most comets which are
discovered 3 or 4 months prior to their closest approach to the earth and
sun, this comet was found about 20 months before its closest approach -
absolutely unprecedented! The comet is no threat to the earth, at its closest,
it will still be as far away as the sun, yet there are
some very strange and weird aspects to this comet which officials seem
reluctant to tell us about or discuss.

Speaking
of this Hubble picture, a visitor to this web site sent me his interpretation
it. His high contrast color reprocess on the picture along with his measurements
give compelling evidence that the bright spot was not a chunk ejected from
the comet, but rather it appears the comet is orbiting the chunk! Notice
the head of the comet, and its tail all maintain an equal distance from
the 'chunk.' From this it would appear that the comet is only part of the
story. Could it be a comet orbitting something larger and both are coming
this way?
Hubble was scheduled to view Hale-Bopp in May, June, July, August, September and October of 1996. How come the most recent picture of Hale-Bopp that's been released to the public is from October of 1995?
Still no good explanation for this one:
Hale-Bopp's Mysterious Eyes!
While Hubble and major observatories are not revealing recent pictures some astronomers in New Mexico took these shots on the evening of July 23, 1996 (exactly 1 year to the day after Mr. Hale and Mr. Bopp discovered the comet.) They reveal that Hale-Bopp's nucleus apparently divided! Theories that this could have been a background star or a flaw in their imager have been rejected. To see more of this and read the story go to:http://www.halebopp.com/z05eyes.htm
Still Skeptical??
The simplest way I have to show skeptics they are hiding something about Hale-Bopp is to compare these two JPL sites:
Hale-Bopp image archive: http://newproducts.jpl.nasa.gov/comet/images.html
(notice they "accidentally" deleted a bunch of images. They promised they'd be restored soon, but that promise was made in May of 1996!!! Also notice the number of images gets smaller each month and trail off completely in May.)
Hyakutake image archive: http://newproducts.jpl.nasa.gov/comet/hyakutake/
(nothing to hide here, you can find over 1000 images of this comet, even though it's not nearly as big as Hale-Bopp!!)
The Space Program, Ancient Ruins and Cosmic Messages
Radio Station Audio Software - This has nothing to do with comets. I have written a great virtual cart machine and recording system in use by radio stations all over the world. It run's on Windows 95 and anyone can download a demo of it right here!
